After a good marketplace review, my search ended with this Milwaukee M18 Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) sawzall. Great features plus M18 Li-Ion power means freedom from electrical outlets and extension cords.

At 7.9 lbs, with battery installed, it is a little heavier than Milwaukee's lightest corded units (7 lbs, plus cord). However, I like being able to grab the unit and execute the work without having to string out and deal with extension cords. Two of these M18 Li-Ion batteries will keep you busy.
The M18 Li-Ion battery provides full power until it runs out (battery has a gauge), it develops no memory problems like earlier NiCads, can be topped-off (charged) at anytime, and will not deteriorate as fast as the NiCad when stored or left unattended for long periods.
At todays prices, the cost is close (comparison to corded units). I applied the money I was going to spend on 75- to 100-feet of heavy gauge electrical cable (10- to 12-gauge) toward the cost of the 2620-22. That is $100+ for American-made high grade cable (copper is expensive); a real consideration for persons looking and trying to decide. Also, Milwaukee's "incentive" program (April 1 thru June 30, 2009) for M18 Lithium-Ion tools provides WOW to an already good purchase ... check it out!
The M18 Li-Ion sawzall is amenable to "wherever" you want to use it: camping, hunting (deer blind), trail clearing (RVs), or simply demolition or clearing out debris in the middle of nowhere. "The charger will operate with most generators and inverters rated at 300 Watts or higher." Inverters of 700 Watt DC cost about $60 and connect directly to one's car battery.
BONUS: The M18 Li-Ion sawzall can add security to one's wellbeing when the electric power goes out. If you live in areas where tornados, hurricanes, ice storms, etc., can occur, M18 Li-Ion cordless tools such as this one can help one get out of bad situations.
